BOAT SALES AND POWERSPORTS PROFESSIONAL:

The Ideal Boat Sales professional will have previous marine industry experience and passion for the water OR riding a trail. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and customer service, with a proven track record of success in a sales role. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and receives customers in a welcoming manner • Respond to customers' questions • Asks open ended questions to understand customers' needs • Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge • Help customer select the proper product • Inform customers about services available and assess customer needs • Assist customers’ with in stock units or special order purchases • Provides outstanding customer service • Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including Saturdays and some holidays.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
• Ability to anticipate customer's needs.
• Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system and CRM system.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous boating and/or powersports experience preferred.

Pay/Compensation commensurate with experience.
